Kelsey Yoder
Occupational Therapist
I am excited to be joining the Adagio House community working as an occupational therapist. As an OT, I strive to promote and empower individuals to participate in their desired occupations through the therapeutic use of everyday activities. I strive to incorporate person centered therapy based on the interaction of personal interests and needs, the environment, and the occupation itself.
Over the past five years, I have enjoyed working with children of all ages and their caregivers in a variety of settings including alternative schools, outpatient clinics, and early intervention. Prior to my work as an occupational therapist, I worked at a summer recreation camp, an after school program, and a daycare center providing early childhood education.
As an occupational therapist, I am passionate about connecting with you and learning your interests, goals, desires, strengths, and needs. Some of my current favorite occupations include exploring the outdoors with my husband, hiking, playing with my dog Guava, and traveling.
